July 2026 Cohort: Enrolling Now

Most kids consume the internet,
Yours could build it.

While other secondary school students doomscroll social media platforms and dance on TikTok, your child could be writing the code behind what they scroll through. Your child can be the one behind the algorithm supporting social media feeds. We built TekiToki Academy's Build Lab for Nigerian students aged 11-16, featuring live online classes, small cohorts, and a globally recognized American certification.

πŸ—“ June 2026 cohort: maximum 10 students. Enrollment closes when full.

The Real Talk

You already know tech is the future. Is your child in it or watching it happen?

As a Nigerian parent, you are already doing everything right. You pay for lesson teachers. You push for the best schools. You plan ahead because you know your child's future depends on the decisions you make today.

But the lesson teacher preparing your child for WAEC is preparing them for a world that is already changing faster than any syllabus can keep up with. The people who build technology will always be better positioned than those who only use it. We started TekiToki because your child deserves to be a builder not just a user.

The Program

Build Lab: From zero to certified, step by step.

We designed Build Lab as a real, progressive curriculum, taught live, in small classes, by an experienced instructor who knows your child by name. Every Set ends with something your child built and a certification they earned.

01

HTML & CSS: Build Your First Website

Set 1 Β· Beginner

BL1ABL1B

We start here because this is where every great developer starts. By the end of Set 1, your child will have designed and built their own real website from scratch, not a template, something they actually created. They will be able to show you, show their school, show anyone: "I built this."

πŸ† Earns: Knowledge Pillars HTML & CSS Coding Specialist (HCCS)
02

JavaScript and APIs: Make It Come Alive

Set 2 Β· Intermediate

BL2ABL2B

This is where it gets exciting for your child. We teach them to add logic, interactivity and animation to what they already built in Set 1. They go from "I made a website" to "I made something that actually does things" β€” and you will see the confidence shift in them.

πŸ† Earns: Knowledge Pillars JavaScript Coding Specialist (JSCS)
03

Python: Think Like a Developer

Set 3 Β· Advanced

BL3ABL3B

Python is the language of data, artificial intelligence, and the future of work. By the time your child reaches Set 3, we are teaching them to think like a developer β€” breaking real problems into steps and writing code that solves them. This is where everything clicks.

πŸ† Earns: Knowledge Pillars Python Coding Specialist (PCS)

Each Set runs for one school term. We move students up as they complete each level, and we welcome new beginners into Set 1 at the start of every cohort.

The Certification

Your child doesn't just learn to code with us. They get certified. Internationally.

When your child completes each Set, we prepare them to sit a Knowledge Pillars certification exam, a globally recognized, American-accredited coding examination trusted by institutions and employers worldwide.

This is not a certificate we print and hand them at the end of class. This is an independent, internationally recognized credential that proves your child can actually code, the same standard used by institutions across the United States, Europe and beyond.

Most coding programs in Nigeria give your child a certificate from themselves. We give your child a certification from an internationally accredited American body, one that means the same thing in Lagos as it does in London, Houston, or Toronto.

HTML & CSS Coding Specialist

Knowledge Pillars HCCS Β· Earned at end of Set 1 Β· Globally verifiable

JavaScript Coding Specialist

Knowledge Pillars JSCS Β· Earned at end of Set 2 Β· Globally verifiable

Python Coding Specialist

Knowledge Pillars PCS Β· Earned at end of Set 3 Β· Globally verifiable

Three stackable, verifiable credentials β€” each one on your child's CV, LinkedIn, and university application before they finish secondary school.

How It Works

Simple for you, Serious about outcomes for your child.

πŸ“±

100% Online

We run all our classes live on Google Classroom. All your child needs is a laptop and a stable internet connection. We do not support commuting or logistics on your end.

πŸ‘₯

Maximum 10 Students Per Class

We deliberately cap every class at 10 students because we believe your child deserves real attention. Your child can ask questions, get feedback, and actually keep up.

πŸ“…

We Work Around School

We schedule weekend and evening sessions and plan around the Nigerian school calendar. Your child's academics come first. We fit around them, not the other way.

πŸ—οΈ

Real Projects, Not Just Theory

At the end of every Set, your child has something they actually built β€” a real project they can show their friends, teachers, and future university admissions office.

🌍

Internationally Certified

At the end of every Set, your child sits a Knowledge Pillars exam. When they pass, they walk away with a globally recognized credential, not a local certificate.

Built for Students

Our examples, projects, and context actually make sense for where your child lives and what they know. We built this for here, not adapted from somewhere else.

FAQ

What you are probably wondering right now.

My child has never coded before. Is that okay?+
We designed Set 1 to start from absolute zero. No prior experience is needed β€” just a child who is curious and willing to try. We built this curriculum specifically for Nigerian secondary school students who are brand new to coding.
What does my child need to get started?+
A laptop or desktop computer and a stable internet connection. That is genuinely everything. We handle the rest on Google Classroom β€” no additional apps or software needed.
How do you structure the classes?+
We run live sessions twice a week, one hour each. We also record every session and upload it to Google Classroom so your child never falls behind if they miss a class.
What age range do you teach?+
We teach students from JSS1 through SS3 β€” ages 11 to 16. This is the sweet spot where coding becomes intuitive and exciting, and where early exposure makes the biggest long-term difference.
What exactly is Knowledge Pillars?+
Knowledge Pillars is an American certification body whose coding exams are recognized by institutions and employers globally. When your child passes their exam, Knowledge Pillars issues them a verifiable digital certificate directly β€” it comes from them, not from us. You can verify it anywhere in the world.
When does the June cohort start?+
We begin classes on June 2, 2026. We close enrollment as soon as all 10 spots are filled, so we recommend registering early to avoid disappointment.
What is the difference between a Set and a Cohort?+
A cohort is the group that enrolls together at the same time. Within each cohort, we run two Sets simultaneously β€” beginners in Set 1 and more experienced students in Set 2 or 3. As your child completes each Set, we move them up.
Can my child join if the cohort has already started?+
New students always begin at Set 1 with a fresh cohort. We open enrollment at the start of each new cohort so that every child begins the journey from the same place and no one falls behind.

We are starting June 2.
Will your child be in the room?

We have 10 spots, live classes, international certification, and a curriculum designed to give your child a skill they will use for the rest of their life.
